Wednesdays @ Christ Church This is a mid week meeting that takes place in the lounge at Christ Church on alternative Wednesdays to Housegroups. It is a less formal service than on Sunday morning but still with an opportunity to hear testimony to how God is at work in peoples’ lives today. There is a time for prayer and worship and at least once a month we share communion.
The evening is completed with tea and coffee – a chance to get together and be refreshed, inspired, challenged and encouraged.
Please do come and join us – all are welcome.
Gems is for 0-5 year olds and you!
A baby and toddler group that meets on Friday mornings – 9.30 to 11.00am - during term times.
Come and play, sing, listen to a Bible story, eat cake, chat and drink coffee in our comfortable surroundings.
We welcome all ages of pre-school children and provide activities appropriate for the older children while the tinies stay in their mother’s arms or are contented to lie on the floor and have a kick on the mat.
Whatever the age of your child/children, we look forward to seeing you.

Our Youth Group at Christ Church gives the young people in the church and the village an opportunity to meet socially - to chat, play games, chill out and generally have a good time together.
The age range is from Year 9 to Sixth Form (around 14-18) with the majority generally being in Years 9-11.
Our regular activities include play station games, pool, table tennis, table football, and just chatting. We also spend around 10-20 minutes each week all together doing some group activity or game. We also have various 'theme' or activity evenings from time to time - typically once a term. This has included: a pizza night, American night, quizzes, cooking, and barbecues.
A weekend away also gives a great opportunity to build friendships and find out more about what it means to be a Christian.
We meet at Christ Church on a Thursday evening from 8.00 to 9.15 during term time, with at least three leaders present (at least one male and one female).
For more information please email us.
Our Sunday morning service begins at 10.30am, lasts for around 75 minutes and is for all ages.
We provide crèche facilities, have a children’s time during the service and Sunday clubs running parallel with the latter part of the main service.
The first Sunday of each month is especially aimed at those seeking answers from the Christian faith.
Coffee and a time to chat follow all our Sunday morning
We have house groups that meet alternate weeks and enable those who go to learn more about God from studying the Bible, more about themselves as they talk to the other members and to make friends on whom they can rely and receive help and support, as well as providing similar help in reply.
Although all the groups are run differently they all include a time of Bible study, a time of prayer and a time to chat with each other. Over time lasting friendships are made and a deeper understanding of our faith is achieved.
Kid’s club is a club for years 2 to 5 (ages 6-10 approximately) that meet at Christ Church from 5.45-6.45pm on Thursdays during term times.
The club starts with some games and we split into groups for activities. The children can choose between cooking, crafts, drama, table tennis, pool, or table football.
Drinks and biscuits are available during the evening and we finally finish with a short talk, activity or drama by the children. These help the children learn about Christian life and the Church and are always pretty lively.

Junior Youth Group is a fun, relaxed group for boys and girls aged 10-13 years (School years 6-8)
It takes place on Thursday evenings between 7 and 8pm during school term time. The hour consists of a mixture of different activities such as cooking yummy snacks, play station, table tennis, pool, and table football and then a time when the group can get together to play a game.
For the first part of the hour the group can choose between the different activities while the last 20 minutes is spent together, a great time for everyone to get to know each other build their confidence and have some fun.
This group has become very popular as we have found this age group really did need a place where they could be mini teenagers, have some freedom and socialize in a safe environment. There is a great atmosphere and good relationships between leaders and youngsters.
For further information please email us.
There are two Discipleship groups; one is for school years 7 to 9 which is on Fridays from 6.30 to 8.00pm and the other is for school years 10+ which is on Tuesdays from 7.00 to 9.00pm .
We meet to pray, encourage and challenge each other and ask those awkward questions about faith (doesn't mean they always get answered!)
We also get to eat dessert!
