From September 2010 a team from Christ Church Woodbury is embarking on a year of fundraising for a children’s home near Arusha, Tanzania.

CCW have been supporting and visiting Seeway Tanzania (SWTz) since 2008, and now the acquisition of a new compound heralds a new phase for SWTz with an opportunity to live together securely on one site and grow and develop their vision to nurture and facilitate the care and development of the children in their care and those in needy families in their local community. CCW have committed to adopt SWTz as a focus for their giving to help develop the site, erect and refurbish buildings and provide essential equipment.

We have set ourselves a target of £20,000 which is a big deal for a small church in a small Devon village.

Would you join us in taking these 24 children under our wing for twelve months like an extended family, to set them up in their new secure accommodation where they can all be together?
