All proceeds for the 2019 Fun Run will go to Hope4Kibera, a new charity launched by local people. The aim is to support Swahiba Networks in Nairobi, Kenya, who have been working in the Kibera slums for the past 17 years.

Kibera is the largest urban slum in Africa with around a million people living in dire poverty. The central focus of Hope4Kibera is to raise funds to staff and run a free secondary school for teenagers which Swahiba have built.

The Woodbury 10K Fun Run is affiliated to Exmouth Harriers Running Club and will be following ARC Rules. It is sponsored by Christ Church Woodbury in association with Moshulu and The Maltsters Arms.
