Reflections

Reflections is a group of women who gather to enjoy a time of sharing, listening, and thinking about what is going on in our lives, as we reflect on who God is and what He has done. Our hope is to grow in love, grace, and maturity as we explore the Bible, listen to each other’s stories, share our thoughts, and pray together.
Knowing that we are loved, valued and have a purpose in life is crucial to our well-being. Where do we look for that sense of security? Where do we look for that belonging? We may have good people in our lives who love and support us, and we may be one who is trying to do life alone. But we have a God who wants to be an intimate part of our lives. He created us to have relationship with Him so He can supply everything we need to live an abundant life. He loves us with an everlasting and unconditional love. A love that holds us as well as empowers us to live the life He truly wants us to live where we do feel valued and we do have a sense of purpose.

This season in Reflections we are going to explore the concept of…

The fact that we are cherished tells us something about our position and God’s character. His desire to cherish us is displayed throughout the whole Bible. He knows each of us intimately and is aware of our strengths and weaknesses, our personality and abilities. He knows how we think and what we think, what sustains us and what brings us down. In all of these things, He wants to cherish us into understanding who He is and how much we are loved. We will learn that He is our Helper and Comforter, that He is All Powerful and Holy. God’s character shows that He is both awesome and personal. We will explore the significance that each of us is a saint, a worshipper and a servant in His kingdom.
